I never realized how beautiful Merrill Garbus’ voice was until I watched this. I guess her musical composition and funkiness distracted me from her most natural instrument.

Study break! I found this last night so I thought I’d share it with you all. :)
I love simple live music like this. It just proves that everything can be stripped back and still have just as much impact.
And thanks to Vincent Moon and La Blogotheque, there are more and more videographers bringing us beautifully captured moments like this. You can hear the cars, the people passing, and some children laughing, and as the sounds of the outdoors mingle with the organic music, you find yourself feeling something, anything.
